you will not kill

"Thou shalt not kill"

5.M 5.17

16 Whoever strikes someone with an iron object so that they die is a murderer; the murderer must die. 17 Whoever strikes someone with a stone with which one can die, and he dies, is a murderer; the murderer must die. 18 Whoever strikes someone with a wooden object with which one can die, and he dies, is a murderer; the murderer must die. 19 The avenger of blood may put the murderer to death; when he overtakes him, he may put him to death. 20 Whoever thrusts someone in hatred or throws something at them with malice so that they die, 21 or strikes them with his hand in enmity so that they die, the one who struck them shall surely be put to death; he is a murderer. When the avenger of blood overtakes the murderer, he may put him to death. 22 But if anyone accidentally throws something at someone without enmity or malice, 23 or throws a stone at them without seeing them, so that they die, even though they were not their enemy or intended to harm them, 24 then the community shall judge between the person who caused the death and the avenger of blood according to these legal regulations. 30 Any murderer who kills a person may be put to death only on the testimony of witnesses. The testimony of one witness shall not be sufficient to convict a person of death. 31 You shall not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer who is worthy of death; he shall surely die. 33 Do not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land. You can only make atonement for the land by the blood of the one who sheds it.

4.Mojžišova 35

If any man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, giveth of his seed unto Molech, he shall surely be put to death: the congregation shall stone him with stones. 3 And I myself will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, to profane my holy name. 4 And if the congregation shall hide their eyes from that man, because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, and they shall not put him to death; 5 then I myself will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off from among his people, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech.

4.Moses 20

There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire, or a soothsayer, or a sorcerer, or a sorcerer,

Deuteronomy 18:10

Passing a son or daughter through fire is done for the purpose of a better-more luxurious life here on earth. It is about artificial abortions of unborn children. A person's decision regarding abortion begins and ends with the free choice of who they will have sex with. The only way to have legal sex according to the Bible is in marriage between a man and a woman. When people have sex and a woman gets pregnant, it is never an accident, the child must be allowed to live. God planned every person before the foundation of the world.

In the period before the coming of the Lord Jesus, mortal sins were punished with death, because evil would spread among people and the entire nation would come under God's judgment and destruction, because God is Holy - Perfect and dwells in a huge fire that will burn up all evil. Since the coming of the Lord Jesus and His sacrifice for us, it is possible to receive forgiveness for violations of God's law and mortal crimes with sincere repentance, which God sees in the heart of man. The result of forgiveness is the liberation of man from the grip of death, fear, and the freedom to correct his life. If correction does not occur, God's judgment rests on the man, not grace and forgiveness. God deals with this man. Christians are not allowed to punish people for violating God's laws, but they separate themselves from those people. Secular authorities can adjust state laws and carry out punishments according to God's laws, for example, the death penalty for premeditated murder or kidnapping.

3 Fear not the rulers for the good work, but for the evil. Do you not fear the rulers? Do good, and you will have praise from them. 4 For they are God's minister for your good. But if you do evil, be afraid, for they do not bear the sword in vain. For they are God's minister, an avenger, an executioner of wrath against the one who does evil.

Romans 13

21 You have heard that it was said to the fathers, ‘You shall not murder.’ But whoever murders will be liable to judgment. 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment. Whoever says to his brother, ‘You fool,’ will be liable to the council; whoever says, ‘You fool,’ will be liable to the fiery hell. 23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar and go away; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him. Otherwise, your adversary will hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you will be thrown into prison. 26 Truly, I say to you, you will not get out of there until you have paid the last farthing.

Matthew 5

fool – a person who unknowingly does evil

crazy – a person who knowingly does evil and says that God is not the Judge.

Prison – time here on earth in oppression, which is the result of unbalanced interpersonal relationships.

These are spiritual laws that apply like physical laws, such as gravity, and we cannot abolish them; only the Creator has power over them. Out of pity for the fate of people, God does this and we call it miracles.

The result of breaking God's laws is death - separation from God and suffering, but the gift - free and for all from God is forgiveness and eternal life by recognizing that He is Perfect and we are evil. By recognizing that we accept the help He offers us and asking for forgiveness for our crimes on the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. After receiving forgiveness, we commit to obeying the Creator by learning and respecting His laws in the new life He offers us.

In Israel, serious crimes were publicly tried by responsible people in society - judges, and people were publicly punished. This was to prevent the entire society of Israel from falling into rebellion and thus under God's judgment. God is Holy - Perfect and dwells in a huge fire of love. Everything in His presence is revealed and evil will burn in His fire.

For us, this means respect for the authorities in individual states, which are entrusted by God with this judgment and punishment. It is up to individual governments and subsequently judges to respect God's laws.

God does not want criminals to perish, but to enter into themselves, to correct themselves and to be able to live through the grace of God. The well-known story of the woman who was caught in adultery, they wanted to stone her according to God's law and brought her to Jesus. He said: "Let him who is without sin be the first to throw a stone." When she was left alone and everyone left, he said: "Has no one condemned you? Neither do I condemn you, go and sin no more." God presents himself to us as righteous, who rewards good and punishes evil, but is gracious to the broken. God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. God did not abolish the law, he came to fulfill it through the Lord Jesus.

11 Say to them, ‘As I live,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways!

Ezekiel 33

23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God's grace is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
